You may be surprised by some of the items on this list, such as games and playing cards, video games and DVDs, or sporting equipment. These items are prohibited to help you avoid distractions and allow you to focus on your recovery. However, we will have items available to you during certain, appropriate times.
You will also find that outside food and drinks are banned because we maintain an atmosphere that is focused on health and wellness. Three meals a day, snacks and beverages will be provided to you. If you have special dietary needs, please let us know and we will accommodate these needs.
Yes, you are allowed to bring current prescribed medications (no samples). They must be in the original pharmacy bottle which shows prescription information. Medication will be subject to inspection and will be reviewed by the medical director at Restore.
Residents of Restore Health and Wellness Center can call home to loved ones on weekends, or while under the supervision of Therapists and Case Managers during the week.
Treatment typically lasts anywhere from 45 to 90 days. The length of stay will depend on your individual needs, the severity of addiction, and the level of care needed. Although some people can start out in residential rehab, others may require detox as their initial phase of addiction recovery. It is important that you complete each level of care necessary for your unique addiction. This will ensure that you are physically and psychologically prepared for life after treatment, and have the tools to be successful in sobriety maintenance and addiction recovery for the years that follow.
