Our luxurious, two mansion facility is located in Los Angeles on two acres of land, overlooking the beautiful hills of Southern California. Restore is a supportive, sober healing environment for people to undergo drug or alcohol addiction treatment in a private setting.

What Should I Bring with me to Treatment?

The following is a list of what you will need to bring with you to treatment at Restore Health and Wellness Center:

  • Co-payments for prescription medications – cash or credit or debit card
  • 7 days of casual clothing including a sweater or light jacket
  • Pajamas
  • Swim suit
  • Flip-flops
  • Current prescribed medications (no samples). They must be in the original pharmacy bottle which shows prescription information.
  • Alarm clock
  • Personal hygiene items
  • Electric razor
  • Shaving cream
  • Indoor and outdoor shoes
  • Nicotine products

Bring 30 days’ worth of toiletries and beauty products, including:

  • deodorant

What Items Should I NOT Bring to Restore Health and Wellness Center?

This list of prohibited items was created to ensure your safety and to create the best environment for your recovery. The following items are almost always banned:

  • Narcotics or prohibited prescriptions
  • Weapons (guns, knives, scissors, sharp objects, etc.)
  • Pornography
  • Food and drinks
  • Toiletries and beauty products that contain alcohol (mouthwash, perfume, etc.)
  • Electronic cigarettes
  • Unapproved or previously opened OTC medications
  • Nail polish, polish remover or synthetic nail related products
  • Video games and DVDs>
  • Sporting equipment
  • Revealing clothing (tank tops, sleeveless shirts, midriff bearing tops, etc.)
  • Aerosols
  • Cleaning supplies (bleach, ammonia, etc.
  • Electronics (televisions, gaming consoles, etc.)
  • Games and playing cards
  • Candles and incense
  • Clothing with profanity or references to drugs, alcohol or violence

You may be surprised by some of the items on this list, such as games and playing cards, video games and DVDs, or sporting equipment. These items are prohibited to help you avoid distractions and allow you to focus on your recovery. However, we will have items available to you during certain, appropriate times.
You will also find that outside food and drinks are banned because we maintain an atmosphere that is focused on health and wellness. Three meals a day, snacks and beverages will be provided to you. If you have special dietary needs, please let us know and we will accommodate these needs.

Can I Bring my Prescription Medication?

Yes, you are allowed to bring current prescribed medications (no samples). They must be in the original pharmacy bottle which shows prescription information. Medication will be subject to inspection and will be reviewed by the medical director at Restore.

When will I be Allowed to Call Home?

Residents of Restore Health and Wellness Center can call home to loved ones on weekends, or while under the supervision of Therapists and Case Managers during the week.

How Long will I be Staying?

Treatment typically lasts anywhere from 45 to 90 days. The length of stay will depend on your individual needs, the severity of addiction, and the level of care needed. Although some people can start out in residential rehab, others may require medical detox as their initial phase of addiction recovery. It is important that you complete each level of care necessary for your unique addiction. This will ensure that you are physically and psychologically prepared for life after treatment, and have the tools to be successful in sobriety maintenance and addiction recovery for the years that follow.

Do you Accept my Insurance?

Restore Health and Wellness accepts most health insurance providers, including: Cigna, Humana, Aetna, AmeriHealth, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Value Options, United Healthcare, and Medical Mutual among many others.

Do you Treat Co-Occurring Disorders?

Yes. The co-occurrence of a substance use disorder and mental illness is commonly seen in people who seek addiction treatment. Both disorders must be addressed in order for treatment to be successful. Restore offers dual diagnosis programs that are specifically designed to treat both drug or alcohol addiction and underlying mental illnesses.
